The West Berkshire Open Studios 2011 event is also now in full swing. see www.open-studios.org.uk for all participating artists in Reading, Shinfield, Caversham, Whitchurch-on-Thames, Theale as well as further afield towards Newbury and beyond.
This event incorporates a group show called Insight 2011, staged at New Greenham Arts in Newbury throughout May. It showcases items of work of all artists participating in Open Studios. This is one not to miss, particularly if you don't have time to visit lots of the different artists' studios. Much of this work is really outstanding.
Knife Edge - An exhibition by Open Hand Open Space artists - www.ohos.org - in the ground floor of the Keep is also part of West Berks Open Studios. Wed 18-Sun 22 May 11am-5pm + 6-8pm Fri 20th.
